On Thursday 18th January 2018, I am appearing with Alis Hawkins at Cardiff Central Library for one of their “Open Space” events.
The event is called “Two Crime Writers” and we’ll talk about how our new collective Crime Cymru is changing the face of crime writing in Wales.
As Alis says in her article for the Wales Art Review:
Crime Cymru, as an idea, came about because those of us who live and set our work here are determined to challenge the notion that ‘nobody who wants to be read sets their books in Wales’. As Welsh writers, we believe that Wales is simply under sold: by publishers, by booksellers, even by authors and readers. And we’re determined to change that.
The event starts at 17:45 and tickets are free, but please make a reservation in advance.
