With the launch of our new Welsh writing collective Crime Cymru, I am booked to appear at a number of events in the upcoming months.

Which means I’ve had to create an Events page! All my appearances will be listed on the page, though I will also update my blog as details become available.

Crime Cymru with Alis Hawkins and Rosie Claverton
Cardiff Book Festival
Sunday 24th September 2017 @ 17:15
Dragon Suite, The Angel Hotel

Ever since Holmes and Watson the detective double-act has captured readers’ imaginations but, these days, you’re more likely to see a partnership on TV than in novels. Alis Hawkins and Rosie Claverton discuss why this might be and talk about their own detecting duos – blind coroner Harry Probert Lloyd and his solicitor’s clerk sidekick John Davies in 19th century Ceredigion and twenty-first century, agoraphobic hacker Amy Lane and her ex-con assistant, Jason Carr, in Cardiff.

Crime Cymru – The Outsiders: why are all the sleuths in Welsh crime fiction from elsewhere
Crickhowell Literary Festival
Thursday 5th October 2017 @ 20:00
The Parish Hall, Crickhowell

Welsh crime writers Rosie Claverton, Alis Hawkins, Jan Newton and Katherine Stansfield - all members of the recently-launched Crime Cymru group – will be in discussion with best-selling crime and thriller writer MR Hall about why Welsh soil may throw up poets a-plenty but doesn’t seem so keen to grow detectives.

This panel will be chaired by best selling author Matthew Hall.

I hope to see you there!
